Rs. 200 Prize Bond List, Draw Result and Online Check

Welcome to the complete Rs. 200 prize bond page. Whether you want to check the latest Rs. 200 prize bond list, look up a draw result, or search your number online, you can do it all right here. Our checker at the top of this page is already set to the Rs. 200 denomination, so you just enter your number and search. Below the tool you'll find the full prize structure, how the draw works, how to claim a prize, the tax rules, and answers to the questions people ask most about the Rs. 200 bond.

The Rs. 200 prize bond is one of the savings instruments issued by the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) and managed through the State Bank of Pakistan. It's popular because it does two things at once. It keeps your money completely safe, since the bond never loses its face value and can be cashed back any time, and it gives you a real chance at a cash prize at every draw. Your savings stay protected while you wait for the draw, which is why so many Pakistani families keep Rs. 200 bonds year after year.

Rs. 200 prize bond prize structure

Every Rs. 200 draw pays out a fixed set of prizes decided by the State Bank. Here's the full breakdown so you know exactly what your bond could win:

PrizeWinners per drawAmount each
First prize1Rs. 750,000
Second prize3Rs. 250,000
Third prize1,696Rs. 1,250

Notice that the third prize has 1,696 winners in every single draw. That's the part people overlook. While the first prize of Rs. 750,000 grabs attention, your realistic chance of winning something sits with that long third-prize list. Plenty of Rs. 200 holders pick up a third prize over the years without ever landing the top amount, which is exactly why checking every draw matters.

How to check your Rs. 200 prize bond online

Checking the Rs. 200 prize bond list online takes seconds with the tool on this page. Here's how:

  1. The denomination is already set to Rs. 200, so you don't need to change it.
  2. Choose the draw you want, or check across all available draws at once.
  3. Type the last six digits of your bond number.
  4. Press check. We match your number against the full official Rs. 200 winning list and show the result instantly.

If you hold several Rs. 200 bonds, you don't have to check them one by one. Use the bulk option and paste all your numbers separated by commas, and the tool runs through every one of them together. This is the fastest way to check a whole booklet of bonds at once. Many people search for the Rs. 200 prize bond list online check going back several years, and because we keep past draws on file, you can look back across recent draws in one place.

When is the Rs. 200 prize bond draw held?

The Rs. 200 bond is drawn four times a year. The State Bank sets the dates well in advance, and the draw venue rotates between major cities across Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad and Hyderabad. The balloting is a public event using a hand-operated draw machine, and members of the public are allowed to attend and watch. We publish the Rs. 200 result within minutes of the official State Bank announcement, so you can check your number on the same day the draw happens. You'll find every upcoming date on our draw schedule page.

What to do if your Rs. 200 bond wins

If your number is on the winning list, the first thing to do is keep the bond completely safe. A prize bond is a bearer instrument, which means whoever physically holds it is entitled to claim the prize. Treat a winning Rs. 200 bond exactly like cash, because if it's lost, whoever finds it can claim it. Here's how the claim works:

  1. Keep the original winning bond safe. It's your only proof of ownership.
  2. Take it to the nearest National Savings Centre or a designated State Bank of Pakistan office in your city.
  3. Bring your original CNIC and sign the back of the bond.
  4. Fill in the prize claim form. The office verifies your number against their official record.
  5. Prizes up to Rs. 1,250 are paid in cash at the counter. Larger amounts come by demand draft or bank transfer, usually within three to four working days.

One thing people forget: you have six years from the draw date to claim. After that the prize is forfeited permanently. So don't leave a winning Rs. 200 bond sitting in a drawer. This is also why checking old draws matters, because an unclaimed win from a year or two ago might still be collectable.

Tax on Rs. 200 prize bond winnings

You won't get the full prize amount in your hand, because the government deducts withholding tax at the moment you claim, under Section 156 of the Income Tax Ordinance. The rate depends entirely on your tax filer status. An active filer with the FBR pays 15%. A non-filer pays 30%, which is exactly double. On a Rs. 750,000 first prize, that difference is enormous, and it's the same win either way. The single best thing you can do before a draw is register as a filer, because it cuts your prize tax in half and also helps you with loans and other financial paperwork.
